धन सार्थवाह ने उज्झिया के हाथ में झाडू सौंपते हुए कहा-पुत्री ! तुम फेंकने में चतुर हो। घर का कूड़ा-कचरा बाहर फेंक कर सफाई की जिम्मेदारी तुम पर है। ___ भोगवती को भोजन बनाने का कार्य सौंपते हुए सेट ने कहा-खाने और चखने में तुम होशियार हो।
तीसरी रक्षिता को घर के भण्डारों की चाबी सौंपते हुए कहा-तुम प्रत्येक वस्तु को सँभालकर सुरक्षित रख सकती हो, अतः रखवाली का दायित्व तुम्हारा है। ___ सबसे छोटी रोहिणी को परिवार का नेतृत्व सौंपते हुए ससुर ने आशीर्वाद दिया-परिवार की चतुर्मुखी वृद्धि करने की योग्यता तुम में हैं। इस कुटुम्ब की वृद्धि का साग दायित्व तुम पर है।

As she was fond of eating, Bhogvati was given the responsibility of the kitchen. Handing over all the keys to Rakshika Dhanya said-- You have the capacity to keep things properly and protect them. As such, you are given the responsibility of safe keeping and protection of everything in the household. Giving the overall responsibility of the household to Rohini, the merchant said--- You have the ability to lead the family on the way to progress and all-round development. As such you are appointed the head of the fainily.
