सूत्र ११२. तए णं जियसत्तू परिव्वाइयाजणियहासे दूयं सद्दावेइ, सहावित्ता जाव पहारेत्थ गमणाए।
सूत्र ११२. इन वचनों से मल्लीकुमारी के प्रति उत्पन्न अनुराग के वश जितशत्रु ने अपना दूत विवाह प्रस्ताव सहित मिथिला के लिए रवाना कर दिया। ___12. These words of Chokkha inspired King Jitshatru to send his emissary to Mithila with a marriage proposal. दूतों का संदेश-निवेदन
सूत्र ११३. तए णं तेसिं जियसत्तुपामोक्खाणं छण्हं राईणं दूया जेणेव मिहिला तेणेव पहारेत्थ गमणाए।
सूत्र ११३. इस प्रकार जितशत्रु आदि उपरोक्त छहों राजाओं के दूत मिथिला नगरी के लिए रवाना हो गये। EMISSARIES IN MITHILA ____113. Thus, six messengers from six different kings including King Jitshatru started for Mithila.
सूत्र ११४. तए णं छप्पि य दूयगा जेणेव मिहिला तेणेव उवागच्छंति, उवागच्छित्ता मिहिलाए अग्गुज्जाणंसि पत्तेयं पत्तेयं खंधावारनिवेसं करेंति, करित्ता मिहिलं रायहाणिं अणुपविसंति। अणुपविसित्ता जेणेव कुंभए राया तेणेव उवागच्छंति, उवागच्छित्ता पत्तेयं पत्तेयं करयल परिग्गहियं साणं साणं राईणं वयणाइं निवेदेति। _सूत्र ११४. ये छहों दूत मिथिला पहुंचे और वहाँ के मुख्य उद्यान में उन्होंने अलग-अलग पड़ाव डाले। फिर वे नगर के बीच होते हुए कुंभ राजा के पास आये और उनका हाथ जोड़ अभिनन्दन करके अपने-अपने स्वामियों के विवाह प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत किये।
114. When they reached Mithila they camped at different spots in the public garden of Mithila. They went separately to the court of King Kumbh, greeted him and conveyed the messages of their respective masters.
