166. Following the example of Arhat Malli eight princes from the Jnata clan also got initiated. There names are-1. Nand, 2. Nandimitra, 3. Sumitra, 4. Balamitra, 5. Bhanumitra, 6. Amarpati, 7. Amarsen, and 8. Mahasen.
सूत्र १६७. तए णं भवणवइ - वाणमन्तर - जोइसिय-वेमाणिया देवा मल्लिस्स अरहओ निक्खमणमहिमं करेंति, करित्ता जेणेव नंदीसरवरे दीवे तेणेव उवागच्छंति, उवागच्छित्ता अट्ठाहियं करेंति, करिता जाव पडिगया।
सूत्र १६७. फिर भवनपति, वाणव्यन्तर, ज्योतिष्क, और वैमानिक निकाय के देवों ने अर्हत् मल्ली का दीक्षा महोत्सव किया। तब वे सब नन्दीश्वर द्वीप गये और अष्टाह्निका महोत्सव संपन्न कर अपने-अपने स्थान को लौट गये।

167. Now the gods from Bhavanpati, Vanavyantar, Jyotishka, and Vaimanik dimensions celebrated the initiation ceremony of Arhat Malli. They then proceeded to the Nandishvar island and celebrated the Ashtanhika celebration before returning to their abodes.

सूत्र १६८. तए णं मल्ली अरहा जं चेव दिवसं पव्वइए तस्सेव दिवसस्स पच्चावरण्हकाल-समयंसि असोगवरपायवस्स अहे पुढविसिलापट्टयंसि सुहासणवरगयस्स सुहेणं परिणामेणं, पसत्थेहिं अज्झवसाणेणं, पसत्थाहिं लेसाहिं विसुज्झमाणीहिं, तयावरणकम्मरयविकरणकरं अपुव्वकरणं अणुपविट्ठस्स अणंते जाव केवलनाणदंसणे समुप्पन्ने।
सूत्र १६८. जिस दिन दीक्षा अंगीकार की थी उसी दिन पराह्नकाल में, दिन के अन्तिम भाग में अशोक वृक्ष के नीचे शिला पर बैठे हुए शुभ परिणामों, प्रशस्त अध्यवसाय, और विशुद्ध लेश्याओं के फलस्वरूप अर्हत् मल्ली के ज्ञानावरण और दर्शनावरण कर्मों का क्षय हो गया और वे अपूर्व करण (अष्टम गुणस्थान) को प्राप्त हुए। उसके बाद उन्हें अनन्त, अनुत्तर, निर्व्याघात, और निरावरण केवलज्ञान और केवलदर्शन उत्पन्न हुए।
