सूत्र १६९. तेणं कालेणं तेणं समएणं सव्वदेवाणं आसणाई चलंति। समोसढा, धम्म सुणेति, अट्ठाहियमहिमा नंदीसरे, जामेव दिसिं पाउब्भूया तामेव दिसिं पडिगया। कुंभए वि निग्गच्छइ।
सूत्र १६९. काल के उस भाग में इस घटना से सभी देवों के आसन डोल गये। सभी देव अर्हत् के पास उपस्थित हुए और धर्मोपदेश ग्रहण किया। फिर वे नन्दीश्वरद्वीप में आष्टाह्निका महोत्सव करते हुए अपने स्थानों को लौट गये। राजा कुम्भ भी अर्हत् वन्दना को निकले। ___ 169. During that period of time the thrones of gods trembled. All the gods came to the Arhat and listened to her discourse. सूत्र १७0. तए णं ते जियसत्तुपामोक्खा छप्पि य रायाणो जेट्टपुत्ते रज्जे ठावित्ता पुरिससहस्स-वाहिणीयाओ दुरूढा सव्विड्डिए जाव रवेणं जेणेव मल्ली अरहा जाव पज्जुवासंति।
सूत्र १७0. जितशत्रु आदि छह राजा अपने-अपने ज्येष्ठ पुत्रों को राज्य सिंहासन पर बैठा पुरिससहस्स वाहिनियों पर बैठ अपने पूर्ण वैभव और गाजे-बाजे के साथ अर्हत् मल्ली के पास आकर उनकी उपासना करने लगे। ___170. सूत्र १७१. तए णं मल्ली अरहा तीसे महइ महालियाए कुंभगस्स रन्नो तेसिं च जियसत्तु-पामोक्खाणं धम्मं कहेइ। परिसा जामेव दिसिं पाउब्भूआ तामेव दिसिं पडिगया। कुंभए समणोवासए जाए, पडिगए, पभावई य समणोवासिया जाया, पडिगया। __ सूत्र १७१. अर्हत् मल्ली ने कुम्भ राजा और जितशत्रु आदि छह राजाओं सहित उस विशाल धर्मसभा को उपदेश दिया। धर्मसभा समाप्त हुई और सब लोग अपने-अपने स्थानों को लौट गये। राजा कुंभ श्रमणोपासक बन गये और रानी प्रभावती श्रमणोपासिका। वे भी अपने स्थान को चले गये।
