171. Arhat Malli gave a discourse in that large religious assembly with King Kumbh, King Jitshatru and the other kings. After the discourse the assembly was adjourned and everyone left. King Kumbh also became a Shramanopasak and Queen Prabhavati a Shramanopasika and they also left.
सूत्र १७२. तए णं जियसत्तुपामोक्खा छप्पि य रायाणो धम्मं सोच्चा आलित्ते णं भंते जाव पव्वइया। चोद्दसपुव्विणो, अणंते केवले, सिद्धा।
सूत्र १७२. जितशत्रु आदि राजाओं ने धर्मोपदेश सुनकर कहा-"भगवन् ! यह संसार जरा-मरण की आग में जल रहा है, अति भयंकर और अति विकट रूप से जल रहा है ।" ऐसे वचन कहकर वे सभी दीक्षित हुए। कालान्तर में चौदह पूर्वो के ज्ञाता हो केवलज्ञान प्राप्त कर सिद्ध गति में गये।
172. Jitshatru and other kings said after the discourse, “Bhagavan! This world is burning fiercely in the fire of aging and death.........." Pleading thus they all got initiated. With passage of time they acquired the knowledge of the fourteen sublime canons and finally got liberated after attaining omniscience.
सूत्र १७३. तए णं मल्ली अरहा सहसंबवणाओ निक्खमइ, निक्खमित्ता बहिया जणवयविहारं विहरइ।
सूत्र १७३. अर्हत् मल्ली सहस्राम्रवन उद्यान से बाहर निकलकर जनपदों में विहार करने लगे।
173. Arhat Malli left the Sahasramravan garden and started wandering in different populated areas. संघ वर्णन
सूत्र १७४. मल्लिस णं अरहओ भिसग पामोक्खा अट्ठावीसं गणा, अट्ठावीसं गणहरा होत्था। ___ मल्लिस्स णं अरहओ चत्तालीसं समणसाहस्सीओ उक्कोसियाओ, बंधुमतीपामोखाओ पणपण्णं अज्जियासाहस्सीओ उक्कोसिया अज्जिया होत्था।
मल्लिस्स णं अरहओ सावयाणं एगा सयसाहस्सीओ चुलसीइं च सहस्सा उक्कोसिया सावया होत्था।
मल्लिस्स णं अरहओ सावियाणं तिन्नि सयसाहस्सीओ पण्णष्टुिं च सहस्सा संपया होत्था।
