She narrated these dreams to king Kumbh. He called the dream diviners and asked the interpretation. They were pleased to hear about the auspicious and bountiful future the dreams forebode. पुष्प-दोहद
सूत्र २३. तए णं तीसे पभावईए देवीए तिण्हं मासाणं बहुपडिपुण्णाणं इमेयारूवे डोहले पाउब्भूए-"धन्नाओ णं ताओ अम्मयाओ जाओ णं जल-थलयभासुरप्पभूएणं दसद्धवण्णेणं मल्लेणं अत्थुय-पच्चत्युयंसि सयणिज्जंसि सन्निसन्नाओ सण्णिवन्नाओ य | विहरंति। एगं च णं महं सिरीदामगंडं पाडल-मल्लिय-चंपय-असोग-पुन्नाग-मरुयग-दमणगअणोज्ज-कोज्जय-कोरंट-पत्तवरपउरं परमसुह-फासदरिसणिज्जं महया गंधधुणिं मुयंतं अग्घायमाणीओ डोहलं विणेति।
सूत्र २३. तीन महीने बीत जाने पर प्रभावती देवी के मन में एक दोहद उत्पन्न हुआ"वे माताएँ धन्य हैं जो जल-थल में उत्पन्न, खिले हुए तरह-तरह के पंचरंगे फूलों की कई तहों से भरी-पूरी शय्या पर आनन्द से बैठती और सोती हैं। गुलाब, मालती, चम्पा, अशोक, पुन्नाग, नाग, मरुवा, दमनक, कोरंट तथा सुन्दर कुब्जक के फूलों-पत्तों से बने कोमल, सुन्दर और सुरभित गजरों को सूंघती हैं और इस प्रकार फूलों से घिरी अपना दोहद पूरा करती हैं।"
DOHAD OF FLOWERS
23. During the third month of her pregnancy Queen Prabhavati had a Dohad—“Blessed are the mothers who enjoy sitting and sleeping on a bed filled with layers of a variety of multicoloured flowers which grow on land as well as in water. Who smell soft, beautiful and sweetly fragrant intwined garlands made of flowers like rose, Malati, Champa, Ashok, Punnaag, Naag, Maruva, Damanak, Korant, and Kubjak and leaves from the same plants. Thus surrounded with flowers they fulfill their Dohad."
सूत्र २४. तए णं तीसे पभावईए देवीए इमेयारूवं डोहलं पाउब्भूयं पासित्ता | अहासन्निहिया वाणमंतरा देवा खिप्पामेव जलथलय-भासुरप्पभूयं दसद्धवन्नमल्लं कुंभग्गसो य भारग्गसो य कुंभगस्स रण्णो भवर्णसि साहरंति। एगं च णं महं सिरिदामगंडं जाव गंधधुणिं मुयंत उवणेति।
