पाँचवें वर्ष धन सार्थवाह ने पुनः वैसा ही विशाल आयोजन कर बहुओं को बुलाया और पाँच दाने वापस माँगे । उझिया ने दाने लाकर दिये । सेठ ने पूछा- क्या ये वही दाने हैं ? क्षमा माँगते हुए उज्झिया बोली - तात ! वे दाने तो मैंने फेंक दिये थे। ये तो घर के भण्डार से लाई हूँ । इसी प्रकार भोगवती ने खा लेने की बात स्वीकारी। रक्षिता ने अपनी मंजूषा खोलकर वे ही पाँचों दाने सुरक्षित सौंप दिये।

सबसे छोटी रोहिणी से पूछने पर उसने कुछ समय माँगा। थोड़े दिन बाद पीहर से धान की गाड़ियाँ भरी हुई आईं। सेठ ने आश्चर्यपूर्वक पूछा- यह क्या है? रोहिणी ने बताया - यह सब उन पाँच दानों से उत्पन्न धान है। मैंने उनकी अलग से खेती करवाई और ये निरन्तर बढ़ते-बढ़ते आज हजारों मन हो गये।

At the end of five years the merchant made elaborate arrangements and, as before, invited his friends and relatives. He called the daughters-in-law and asked them to return the grains. When Ujjhika returned the grains the merchant asked if they were the very same. Begging pardon, she said that she had thrown the original ones. Similarly Bhogvati informed that she had swallowed the grains and Rakshika returned the original grains intact. Rohini wanted some time. Later hundreds of tons of rice in cart loads arrived at the merchants place. On expressing his astonishment Rohini informed him that this was the produce of the rotated sowing of the very same five grains she arranged with the help of her maternal relatives.
