at some forms used in the works of standard writers, which cannot be easily explained by the regular application of the sutras.
According to the sūtra उपसर्गस्य घन्यमनुष्ये बहुलम् (6.3.122) the री of the verse अववारी पर्यभूतां तथावि मामू (4.37 ) should not be दीर्घ, it we take Main the sense of 'not having human attendents.' The word in the sutra, comes to the help of Saranadeva. He justifies it on the basic of 5: Saranadeva interprets the word
as meaning not having human attendents, therefore he had to meet the objection by the help of बाहुलक ।
For Jayamangala and Mallinatha, this problem would not arise at all, as they give the meaning of the word 'as मृगपरीवारो. While commenting on the sūtra, व्यापोः संज्ञाच्छन्दसोर्बहुलम् ( 6.3.63) Sara nadeva points out that the word indicates that the sutra may sometimes apply to a's. He points out that the sutra applies to =प्रमदवनम्, when the चतुर्थी तत्पुरुष समास is formed, but it does not apply to प्रमदाया वनम् = प्रमदावनम् when the पष्ठी समान is formed. In support of his comments, Saraṇadeva cites the following usage of Bhatti afar: - वनम् (9.82).

In order to justify the usage, age resorts to fas. It means that the preceding rule supercedes the latter rule, when the arrival at the correct form requires it. Instead of सत्कृत्यशालिन, here the form should bc कृत्यसशालिनः Acc to the sutra कृत्यतुल्याख्या अजात्या ( 2.1 68 ) This sūtra is subsequent to the sūtra 'सन्मह : (2. 1. 61), therefore it should prevail, and the form should be कृत्य सत्० ।
Saranadeva argues that :, and thus justifies the usage. Saranadeva has justified the word विनer in बिनसा हतबान्धवा (5.8) by quoting the authority of a dictionary.
Saranadeva points out that this the synonym of नासिका given in one तथा च कोशान्तरम् - नसा नसापि नासिका । ).

According to the Vartika, वेग्रोव कतभ्यः (On 5.4 119 ) when नासिका is preceded by fa, it is changed to . Accordingly the form should be fan and net विनसा.
