नित्योदयं दलित-मोह-महान्धकारं गम्यं न राहु-वदनस्य न वारिदानाम् । विभ्राजते तव मुखाब्ज-मनल्प-कान्ति
વિદ્યોતયજ્ઞ-ના-પૂર્વ-શશાકૂ-વિખ્યમ્ ૧૮ Nityodayam dalita-moha-mahãndhakāram gamyam na rõhu-vadanasya na vãridãnãm Vibhrājate tava mukhãbja-manalpa-kãnti vidyotayaj-jagad-apūrva śaśãnka-bimbam |11811
નિત્યોદયં દલિત-મોહ-મહાન્ધકાર ગમ્ય ન રાહુ-વદનસ્ય ન વારિદાનામ્ | વિભ્રાજવે તવ મુખાન્જ-મનલ્પ-કાન્તિ વિદ્યોતયજૂ-જગદ-પૂર્વ-શશાર્દૂ-
બિમ્બમ્ II૧૮
हे अप्रतिम दीप्तिमान हे अनल्प कान्ति वाले! आपका मुखकमल कोई अनुपम चन्द्र के बिम्ब समान है, जो जगत को प्रकाशमान करता है और जो नित्य उदित है; मोह रूप अन्धकार का दलन करने वाला है और जो न राहु से ग्रसित होता है, न बादलों से आच्छादित होता है ।
પ્રભુ ! નિરન્તર-હંમેશા ઉદય પામતું-મોહ રૂપ ગાઢ અન્ધકારનો નાશ કરનારું, રાહુથી ગ્રસ્ત ન થનારું અને વાદળોથી આચ્છાદિત ન થનારું, જગતને પ્રકાશનું અત્યંત તેજસ્વી એવું તમારું મુખરૂપી કમળ શોભી રહ્યું છે. ખરેખર, તમે અપૂર્વ ચન્દ્ર છો.
Oh God! Since you can never be compared with the sun, can we now look for the moon?
Alas! Moon rises and sets at indefinite times; it shines in the night only. God, You are ever-risen and showing the path of salvation to Your devotees during the day and night alike.
All deserving souls suffering from their illusions from time immemorial are benefitted by Your preachings and by undertaking the penance had destoryed their pitch darkness within no time.
The moon is eclipsed by Rahu time and again; but oh my Lord, You are so good to mankind, that You eclipse the fallacies and ill-thoughts for ever.
The black spots are apparent on the face of the moon; whereas, while we see You, Your clean personality glows with cool and soothing halo. Moon looks pale in front of You !
Moon rises on one end of the earth and sets on the other; whereas You spread Your aura in entire universe (Triloka) at all times.
