८.९.9 ૯, શ્રી તીર્થંકરદેવની માતાને આવતાં ચૌદ મહાસ્વપ્નોનું સ્વતંત્ર ચિત્ર માનવનું મન બે પ્રકારનું છે. એક સ્કૂલ અને બીજું સૂક્ષ્મ. રાતના નિદ્રામાં સ્કૂલ મન સુષુપ્ત રહે છે અને સૂક્ષ્મ મન જાગૃત હોય છે, તેથી સ્વપ્નો આવે છે. ભાવિ સંતાન કેવું થશે? તેનું સૂચન કરનારાં સ્વપ્નશાસ્ત્રમાં ચૌદ સ્વપ્નો સૌથી શ્રેષ્ઠ બતાવ્યાં છે. તેનાં નામ અનુક્રમે ૧.ગજ (tथी), २.वृषभ (१६), 3. सरीसिंह,४. श्रीवा-बक्ष्मी (मभिषे युत), ५. पुष्पनी भाषा (मे ४,नसी), ६. यन्द्र, ७. सूर्य, ८. ८५°४ (
सिनायित्रथा युत), कुंभ (पू), १०.५६मसरो१२, ११. समुद्र, १२.विमान (मन), १३.२त्ननो ઢગલો અને ૧૪. અગ્નિ (પ્રજવલિત છતાં નિધૂમ).
- અહીં ચિત્રમાં અત્યંત આકર્ષક રીતે ચીતરેલાં અતિભવ્ય ચૌદ સ્વપ્નોને તીર્થંકર પુત્રને જન્મ આપનારી દરેક માતા જુએ છે. એનાં વિવિધ ફળો બતાવ્યાં છે.
એક ખુલાસો - ચૌદ સ્વપ્નો પૈકી પહેલાં સ્વપ્ન માટે વિકલ્પો છે. પહેલા ભગવાનની માતા પહેલાં સ્વપ્નમાં વૃષભ, છેલ્લા ભગવાનની માતા સિંહ અને બાવીશ ભગવંતોની માતા હાથીને જુએ છે. આ વાત સહુ ધ્યાનમાં રાખે.
ચિત્રમાં વૈકલ્પિક ગજ, સિંહ, વૃષભ આ ત્રણને જાણીને મેં વચ્ચોવચ્ચ બતાવ્યાં છે જેથી બરાબર ધ્યાન જાય અને જ્ઞાન થાય. * નીચે સૂતેલા ત્રિશલાદેવીનું રેખાંકન અત્યંત ચિત્તાકર્ષક અને કલાત્મક છે.
९. श्री तीर्थंकर देव की माता द्वारा देखे गये चौदह महास्वप्न मानवका मन दो प्रकारका है- १. स्थूल और २. सूक्ष्म। रात्रिमें निद्रावस्थामें स्थूल मन सुषुप्त होता है और सूक्ष्म मन जागृत होता है तभी स्वप्न आते है। भावि संतान कैसी होगी? इस बात की सूचना देनेवाले स्वप्न शास्त्रमें चौदह स्वप्नोको सर्वश्रेष्ठ बताये है। अनुक्रमसे उनके नाम इस प्रकार है१. गज (हाथी) २. वृषभ (बैल) ३. केसरी सिंह ४. श्रीदेवी (अभिषेक युत लक्ष्मी) ५. पुष्पमाला (एक ही–दो नहीं)
६. चन्द्र ७. सूर्य ८. ध्वज (सिंहके चित्रसे युत) ९. पूर्ण कुम्भ १०. पद्म सरोवर ११. क्षीर समुद्र १२. विमान (अथवा भवन) १३. रत्नराशि १४. अग्नि (प्रज्वलित पर निर्धूम)।
। प्रस्तुत चित्रमें अत्यन्त आकर्षक रूपसे चित्रित अतिभव्य चौदह स्वप्नोंको तीर्थंकर-पुत्रको जन्म देनेवाली हर माता देखती है। इनके विविध फल बताये है। एक स्पष्टीकरण-चौदह स्वप्नों में से प्रथम स्वप्न के लिए विकल्प है। प्रथम तीर्थकर की माता पहले स्वप्नमें वृषभ, अंतिम तीर्थंकर की माता सिंह और शेष बाईस तीर्थंकरोंकी माता हाथी देखती है। चित्रमें हाथी, सिंह और वृषभ इन तीनोंको वैकल्पिक होनेसे सोच समझकर मध्यमें बताया है। ताकि यह बात आसानी से व जल्दीसे जानकारीमें आ सके। * नीचे शयन कर रहीं त्रिशला का रेखांकन चित्ताकर्षक व अत्यन्त कलात्मक बना है।
9. FOURTEEN GREAT DREAMS OF THE MOTHER OF A TIRTHAMKARA
A man has a material and a subtle mind. At night the material mind sleeps and the subtle is active. Hence one gets dreams. According to the scripture of dreams the following fourteen dreams are the best to forecast the future child in the womb.
Their names in order are as under-(1) an elephant (2) a bull (3) a lion (4) Laksami the goddess of दीपक wealth (5)a garland of flowers (6) the moon (7) the sun (8) a flag with diagram of a lion (9) a waterpitcher (10) a lotus-lake (11) a sea (12) god's heavenly abode (13) a heap of jewels (14) a smokeless fire. Every mother who gives a birth to a Tirthamikara dreams these fourteen attractive illustrated dreams as shown in the picture. Their various effects are also described in the scriptures. An explanation - Everyone must remember that there is an option for the first dream. The mother of the first Tirthamkara dreamt of a bull, the mother of the last one dreamt of a lion and the mothers of the remaining twenty two dreamt of an elephant. The option in an elephant, a lion and a bull is purposely indicated by drawing them at centre. So that every one can understand it easily. These will draw the attention of all and enlighten them. The downward sketch of sleeping mother Trisala is highly attractive and artistic.
