We are living in a world of strange contradictions. While we are discovering new ways of waging war, we are forgetting the Ideals of peaceful living; while we have mastered the means of destruction, we have yet to learn how to build goodwill among mankind. We know quitely a lot about atomic explosions and know so little about the philosophy of truth and non-violence.
In a world tormented by lust and distrust, the advent of noble souls like Muni Shri Hazarimal Ji was like the sudden appearance of a streak of spiritual light in the midst of material gloom.
I should, therefore, congratulate the Committee on this publication of the Commemoration volume, and I am sure this will carry far and wide the message that the late Muni ji conveyed during his life time.
