MINISTER OF SUPPLY
INDIA NEW DELHI
Sept. 23, 1963. I am glad to know that you are publishing the Muni Shri Hazarimalji Commemoration Volume in memory of Muni Shri Hazarimal Ji. India has produced great saints, sages, philosophers and yogis and they have kept the torch of Indian Culture and Spiritual knowledge burning through ages. Muni Shri was one of such illustrious sons of India who studied the Jain canon and preached the truths of Jajnisin. Those who came in contact with Muni Shri and heard him were inspired by his message of love, sympathy and compassion. It is but proper that the Samiti has decided to publish a volume in his memory. This is the best form of tribute the generation could pay to such a saint. I hope the volume will be a source of inspiration to the people.

I deem it a great privilege to associate myself in paying an humble homage to that great Saint and Savant of revered memory, whose undying spiritual message and profound personal impact now forms a part of the magnificent heritage of the great teachers and preceptors of mankind.
