शुद्धि व विनय, ( स्व - आचार्य - आदि-अनपह्नवः) अपने आचार्य आदि का नाम नहीं छिपाना (च) और (बहुमतिः) बहुमान (इति) इस प्रकार ( अष्टधाव्याहृतम्) आठ प्रकार से कहे गये (ज्ञानाचार ) ज्ञानाचार को (अहं) मैं ( कर्मणाम् उद्धूतये) कर्मो के क्षय करने के लिये (त्रिधा) मन-वचन काय से ( अञ्जसा प्रणिपतामि) सम्यक् प्रकार से नमस्कार करता हूँ ।
I humbly and respectfully salute to knowledge conduct with mind, speech and body - which is of eight kinds. i.e. arthāchār (currect interpretation of canons), "vyanjanāchar" (currect pronounciation of the terms, sentences and letters of canons), "ubhayāchar" (aforementioned two conducts jointly) kālāchar (Study of canons in prescribed time), "upadhānāchār " ( studying with due care and respects), "vinayāchār"78 (self studying the sacred books), "ahiņhawāchār " (mentioning the name of preceptor/teacher at proper time) and "bahumānāchār " (extending full devotion to the sacred literature being studied) for the purpose of destroying karmas. This eight point knowledge conduct has been enunciated and proclaimed by lord Mahavira who has been the lord of internal and external goddesses and who resemeble the moon of Jnātra dynasty and who has been the creator of dharmatirtha.
दर्शनाचार का स्वरूप (Nature of Darshanāchār)
शंका-दृष्टि-विमोह-काङ्क्षणविधि - व्यावृत्ति - सन्नद्धताम्, वात्सल्यं विचिकित्सना - दुपरतिं धर्मोपबृंह-क्रियाम् । शक्त्या शासन- दीपनं हित-वंधाद् भ्रष्टस्य संस्थापनम् वन्दे दर्शन-गोचरं सुचरितं मूर्ध्ना नम्नादरात् । ॥
( शंका व्यावृत्ति - सन्नद्धता) शंका का त्याग करने में तत्परता, (दृष्टि - विमोह व्यावृत्तिसन्नद्धतां) अमूढ़दृष्टि अथवा दृष्टि विमोह / मूढदृष्टि के त्याग में तत्परता, (काडूक्षणविधिव्यावृत्ति सन्नद्धता) निःकाक्षित अर्थात् भोगाकांक्षा के त्याग में तत्परता, (वात्सल्य) रत्नत्रय धारकों में प्रेम रखना, (विचिकित्सात् उपरति) ग्लानि से दूर रहना, (धर्म उपबृंहक्रियाम्) धर्म की वृद्धि करना, ( शक्त्या) शक्ति अनुसार ( शासन - दीपन) जिन- शासन की प्रभावना करना, (हितपथात्-भ्रष्टस्य
