May my great faults - commited ignorantly by me in practising restraint which yields seven types of super natural powers (riddhi) as well as in causing my desciples -saints to behave wrongly i.e. against canons or might have myself practised wrong conduct i.e. conduct against canons and might have in this manner commited such great sins resulting in the loss of my restraint (which destroys past accumulated sinful karmas and prevents bondage of fresh karmas) be undone or falsified. I have at times behave like a person who himself being the object of condemenation condems others.
Note - The seven kinds of prodigies (riddhi) which are attained by following restraint in proper manner are named prodigies of intilligence (Buddhi), transformation of body (Vikriya), prodigies (Tapa) of Austarities, prodigies of prowess (Bal), prodigies of medicine (Ausadhi), prodigies of delicaly (rasa) and prodigies of region (Kshetca). These seven prodigies/attainments are sub-divided into sixty four subprodigies.
चारित्र धारण करने का उपदेश (Directions as regards the adoption/practice of right conduct)
संसार-व्यसनाहतिप्रचलिता, नित्योदय प्रार्थिनः, प्रत्यासन्न विमुक्तयः सुमतयः, शान्तैनसः प्राणिनः। मोक्षस्यैव कृतं विशालमतुलं, सोपानमुच्चस्तराम, आरोहन्तु चरित्र-मुत्तम-मिदं, जैनेन्द्र-मोजस्विनः।।10।
जो (संसार-व्यसन-आहति-प्रचलिता) संसार के कष्टों/दुःखों के प्रहार से भयभीत हैं, (नित्य-उदय-प्रार्थिनः) निरन्तर, शाश्वत उदय रूप रहने वाली मोक्ष लक्ष्मी की प्राप्ति के लिये प्रार्थना करते हैं, (प्रत्यासन्न विमुक्तयः) जो आसन्न भव्य हैं अर्थात् निकट भविष्य में मुक्ति को प्राप्त करने वाले हैं, (सुमतयः) जिनकी बुद्धि रत्नत्रय रूप मोक्षमार्ग में आकृष्ट होने से उत्तम है, (शान्त ऐनसः) जिनके पाप-कर्मों का उदय शान्त हो गया है, (ओजस्विनः) जो तेजस्वी, महाप्रतापी हैं; ऐसे (प्राणिनः) भव्य प्राणी/भव्य जीव (मोक्षस्य एवं कृत) मोक्ष के लिये ही किये गये (विशाल) विस्तार को प्राप्त (अतुल) अनुपम (उच्चैः) उन्नत, (सोपानम्) सीढ़ी स्वरूप 76 Gems of Jaina Wisdom-IX
