ધર્મતીર્થ સ્થાપના - ઉદ્દેશ અને વિધિ
૩૬૩ થોડી જાહોજલાલી હતી. ધર્મસત્તા પાસે રોજ રાજસત્તા ઝૂકે, બહુમાન-આદર કરે તેવી આર્યપરંપરા હતી. વળી, તીર્થકરોનું પુણ્ય તો પરાકાષ્ઠાનું હોય. તેથી વર્ણન ઉત્કૃષ્ટ રહેવાનું. અત્યારે તો ધર્મક્ષેત્ર dead field (શુષ્ક ક્ષેત્ર) ગણાય છે. આ દેશમાં ધર્મોને નિંદા કરી, ખોટાં નિયંત્રણો મૂકી નબળા કરી દેવામાં આવ્યા છે. બાકી ભારતના ધર્મગુરુઓ ગુણ અને શક્તિમાં કમ નથી. તેમનું બહારથી પુણ્ય જ ખલાસ કરી નાંખવામાં આવ્યું છે. અત્યારે વિશ્વમાં ધર્મગુરુઓમાં પોપનું ઐશ્વર્ય તપે છે. જ્યાં જાય ત્યાં Head of the State (રાજ્યના વડા) receive કરે (સ્વાગત સાથે લેવા આવે) છે. President અને Prime Ministersને (રાષ્ટ્રપ્રમુખ અને વડાપ્રધાનોને) પણ તેઓ જાહેરમાં સલાહ આપે છે જેને અમેરિકાનો પ્રમુખ પણ અવગણી શકતો નથી. તેમના દરેક પ્રસંગોની વૈશ્વિક સ્તરે જાહેરાત અને નોંધ લેવાય છે. હમણાં પોપ ફિલીપાઇન્સમાં ગયા તો તેમના દર્શન માટે ૪૦ લાખ લોકો ઊમટ્યા હતા. પોપ જ્હોન પોલ તો હવે અતિશય ઘરડા છે, ઉપદેશ પણ આપી શકતા નથી, બે વાક્ય માંડ-માંડ બોલે છે. તેમાં પણ તત્ત્વનું ઠેકાણું હોય નહીં. આચાર-વિચાર પણ ભારતના ધર્મગુરુઓ કરતાં ઘણા નીચા છે. તેમનું આખા દિવસના ભોજનનું મેનુ વાંચો તો તેમાં રોજ આટલું માંસ, આટલો wine(દારૂ) આરોગે વગેરે જાહેરાત સાથે હોય છે. તમે વિચારો કે જે સપ્ત વ્યસનોને આર્યધર્મો સામાન્ય અનુયાયીને પણ ત્યાગવા ઉપદેશે છે તેનો પણ તેમના જીવનમાં ત્યાગ નથી, છતાં પવિત્રતાની
