वा नगरंसि वा जाव... सण्णिवेसंसि वा किं वा सोच्चा किं वा दच्चा किं वा भोच्चा किं वा किच्चा किं वा समायरित्ता कस्स वा तहारूवस्स वा समणस्स वा माहणस्स वा अंतिए एगमवि आयरियं धम्मियं सुवयणं सोच्चा निसम्म जं णं ईसाणेणं देविदेणं देवरण्णा सा दिव्वा देविड्ढी जाव... अभिसमण्णागया ?

उत्तर १७ - एवं खलु गोयमा ! तेणं कालेणं तेणं जंबूदीवे दीवे भारहे वासे तामलिती नामं णयरी होत्था । णं तामलित्तिए णयरीए तामली णामं मोरियपुत्ते गाहावई होत्था अड्ढे दित्ते जाव... बहुजणस्स अपरिभूए या वि होत्या तरणं तस्स मोरियपुत्तस्स तामलित्तस्स गाहावइस्स अण्णया कयाई पुव्वरत्तावरत्तकालसमयंसि कुटुंबजागरियं जागरमाणस्स इमेयारूबे अज्झत्थिए जाव... सम्प्पज्जित्था :
अत्थिता मे पुरा पोराणाणं सुचिण्णाणं सुपरिक्कंताणं सुभाणं कल्लाणाणं कडाणं कम्माणं कल्लाणफलवित्तिविसेसो जेणाहं हिरण्णेणं वड्ढामि सुवणेणं वड्ढामि धणेणं वड्ढामि धण्णेणं वड्ढामि पुत्तहिं वड्ढामि पहिं वड्ढाम विपुलar - कग - रयण-मणि-मोत्तिय संख-सिल-प्पवाल - रत्तरयणसंतसा रसावएज्जेणं अईव अईव अभिवड्ढामि ।
