Description.- Country paper; old in appearance; Bengali charac
ters; handwriting, bold, clear and legible ; red pigment occasionally used; yellow pigment used for correction. The Ms contains the following three works:
(I) भागवतकथामृतकणिका, (2) उज्वलनीलमाणाकरणलेश
and (3) हरिभक्तिरसामृतसिन्धुबिन्दु Age.- The Ms appears to be old. Author.- Not mentioned. Begins.-- fol. 16
उज्ज्वलरसः। अनधीतव्याकरणः चरणप्रवणो हरेर्जनो यः स्यात् । भक्तिरसामृतासन्धोबिन्दुभृतं विष्णरूपेण ॥१॥
श्रीराधामदनमोहनदेवौ जयतां ॥ अथोज्वलरसः ॥ तत्र विषयालम्बनो नायकचूडामणिः श्रीकृष्णः प्रथमं गोकुलमथुराद्वारकादिषु क्रमेण पूर्णतमः पूर्णतरः पूर्णः । इति त्रिविधः। धीरोदात्तः । धीरललितः। धीरोद्धतः । इति प्रत्येक
चतुर्विधः । एवं द्वादशः॥१२॥ Ends.-- fol. 246
सुदूरप्रवासान्ते समृद्धिमान् अतिसपर्य्यः । दुर्लभालोकयो'नोः पारतन्त्र्यात् वियुक्तयोः ।
उपभोगातिरेको यः कीर्त्यते स समृद्धिमान् ॥४॥ अथ सम्भोगपश्चः। दर्शनप्रकर्शनवर्थरो धरासेवनविहारः । जलकेलविं. म्वीचौर्य नौकारवेलादानलीलालुकायनलीलामधुपानादयोऽनन्ता एव ॥

This work is described by Rajendralal Mitra in his Notices, Vol. III, No. 580 wherein he remarks. “It is an epitome or a condensed paraphrase, or as the author himself designates it “ the shadow of a ray,” of ujjvalanilamaņi kirana of Viśvanātha Chakravarti, on the amours of Kșsņa in Vrndāvana, describing him and his associates, male and female, according to the rules of the Kāmaśāstra. In fact it is a treatise on Erotics sanctified in the eyes of the faithful by the examples being taken from the life of the cupid of Vrndavana."
