nāgari characters; hand-writing clear and legible but not uniform ; borders ruled with double black lines; the Ms
is not written carefully. Age.- The Ms appears to be old. Author.- Appaya Diksita. Begins --
" श्रीमहागणपतये नमः॥ विश्वं प्रकाशयंती व्यापारैर्लक्षणाभिधाध्वननैः । नयनैरिव हरमूतिर्वबुधो पास्या सरस्वती जयति etc.
............क्रियते वृत्तिवार्तिकम् ॥३॥ Ends.--
"न चैवं सर्वत्र विषयविषयिपदसामानाधिकरण्यस्थले समभिव्याहारादभेदप्रतीतेक्तुं शक्यत्वात्वचिदपि सारोपलक्षण न स्यादिति वाच्यं इष्टापत्तेः ।। इति अप्पाजीदीक्षितविरचिते वृत्तिवार्तिके लक्षणवृत्तिनिर्णयोनाम
