॥श्रीः ॥ अथ भरतनाट्यशास्त्रे ॥प्रथमोध्यायः॥ पताकनिपताकार्धपताकः कर्तरीमुखः । मसराचार्धचन्द्रश्च अराळः शुकतुण्डकः॥ मुष्टिव शिखरश्चैव कपित्थकटकामुखः।। सूचीमुखं पदकोशो बाणसर्वशिरस्तथा ॥ मृगसी(शीर्षे )सिंहमुखो लागुल अलपल्लवः । चतुरो प्रमरचैव हसास्यो हंसपक्षकः॥
