-1882-83. Size.-98 in. by st in. Extent.- 8 leaves; II lines to a page ; 32 letters to a line.. Description.- Country paper in good condition; Davanagari
characters; clear, bold and legible hand-writing; borders ruled with double lines; the Ms comprises only the 2nd prakarana of the Samgitaratnākara which is described as पिंडोत्पत्तिप्रकरण in the printed edition in the Anandashram
Sanskrit Series ( 1896). Age.- The Ms appears to be old. Author. - Sarigadeva ( vide remarks on No. 325 ).. Subject.-Music ( 2nd prakarana called पिंडोत्पत्तिप्रकरण of chapter I
of Samgitaratnakara called स्वराध्याय). Begins.--
“ गीतं नादात्मक वाद्यं नादब्यक्त्या प्रशस्यते
तद्वयानुगतं नृत्यं नादाधीनमतस्त्रयं ॥१॥" Ends --
"गेयं वितन्यते लोके रंजनं भवभंजनं गत्यातिमभिधास्यामनस्याश्रुत्यादिहेतुतां ।।
इति श्रीसंगीतरत्नाकरे पिंडप्रकरणं शारीरं समाप्तं ॥ शुभं भूयात् । लेखकपाठकयोः ॥ यादृशमितिन्यायान्नमे दोषः ॥ श्री ॥ छ ॥ श्रीरामचन्द्र
