Description.-- Country paper, thick and old in appearance ; Deva
nāgari characters; hand-writing thick and bold in app
earance but not uniform ; about half the number of folios ."- have ruled borders with double red dandas; the Ms is incom
plete; yellow pigment used for corrections; the Ms contains comm. on Ullāsas VII, VIII, IX and a portion of Ullāsa X;
the Ms may be divided into two halves, one with numbered · leaves and the other with different and irregular numbering;
the first half contains 46 folios with folios 42 to 45 miss. ..... ing; folio 46 contains colophon of the VIIIth Ullasa; the 2nd ........ half contains 46 folios only some of them being numbered.
Age.-- The Ms is not very old. Author.-- Sarasvati - Tirtha. Begins.-- ........ अथ सप्तमोल्लासव्याख्या॥
गुणविवेकानंतरं अलंकाराणां कः प्रस्ताव इत्यत आह गुणेति ॥ तददोषौ शब्दार्थों इत्यादि निर्देशक्रमेण अलंकारनिरूपणस्यायमेवासर इत्यर्थः ॥
पठति शब्दालंकारान् बहूनन्यान्मनीषिणः
परिवृत्तिसाहिष्णुत्वान्नते शब्दैकभागिन इति ॥ etc. Ends.
