[231. आदरादपि कुर्वतु दुर्जना न कथंचन । हेलयापि च संतोत्र दृष्टिं कुर्वतु मत्कृतौ ॥३॥ किं मे प्रार्थनयाथवा यदि गुणः कश्चित्स्वसूक्तोभवे. द्विद्वद्वंदमिदं तदा द्रुततरं तेनैव बद्धादरम् । नोचेद्दीनदयालुदैन्यवचनस्तच्छ्रष्यते केवलं चित्तं संमदमातनोति कृतिनः किं तावतास्वांतरे ॥४॥ सगुणापि हंत विगुणा भवति खला स्याद्विचित्रवर्णापि ।
आखु मुखादिव शाटी पदपरिपाटी कवेः कापि ॥५॥ Ends.

___ This work is described in I. O. Des. Cat. pt. III, Nos. 1224-25 and Mad. Des. Cat. Nos. 12943-44. Out of the 34 introductory stanzas (as given in the I. O. Ms and the the Mad. Ms) first 28 verses are not given in our Ms. The introduction is mainly devoted to the glorification of Raširaja to whose descendants the author of this commentary was under great obligation throughout his life. For further particulars about the author cf. I. O. Des. Cat. pt. III, No. 1224. The date of the composition as given in the I. O. Cat. is Samvat 1692 (1635 A. D.) cf. अब्दे लोचन रंध्रपद्रवियुलसप्रस्तारसंलक्षिते etc.
