22. SHRI NALIA TIRTHA (SHRI CHANDRAPRABHU BHAGAVAN)
Nalia tirtha is situated at a distance of some 97 kms. from Kutch-Bhuj. There we come across a idol of Shri Chandraprabha Bhagavan, the idol of MULANAYAKA Bhagavan is white in complexion, almost 75 cms. in height. Since Nalia is one of the tirthas of the five in Abadasa, it has greater importance. The temple, with its sixteen peaks and fourteen festival squares is simply majestic. Again, in this Jina temple, architecture in gold is carved on stones. This is indeed a uniquely peculiar art. In the same way the glasswork over here is really beautiful. In V.S. 1897, the majestic temple constructed by Narasimha Natha was religiously inaugurated. The name of Sheth Narasimha Natha is well-known due to the vast inn got constructed by him in Palitana. In the vicinity of this main temple again, there is Shri Ashtapadaji's unique temple constructed by Harabham Narsimha Natha in V.S. 1918. The inner apartments of all the three temples are separate, but the temple should be considered to be just one. In the frontal square of the temple, marble statues of Sheth Narasimha Natha and his wife are installed. Here, there are some 176 other Jina idols installed. There are again a total of 138 Shri SIDDHACHAKRAS-132 made of silver, 4 of metal and two of sandal-wood.
૨૨. શ્રી નલિયા તીર્થ (શ્રીચંદ્રપ્રભ ભગવાન) કચ્છ-ભુજથી આશરે ૯૭ કિ.મી. દૂર આવેલા શ્રી નલિયા તીર્થમાં મૂળનાયક શ્રી ચંદ્રપ્રભુ ભગવાનની શ્વેત વર્ણની લગભગ ૭૫ સે.મી. ઊંચાઇની પ્રતિમા મળે છે. કચ્છ-ભુજના અબડાસા પંચતીર્થી નું નલિયા એક તીર્થસ્થળ હોવાથી તેનું વિશેષ મહામ્ય છે. સોળ શિખરો અને ચૌદ રંગમંડપોથી શોભતું આ રંગમંદિર ભવ્ય લાગે છે. વળી આ જિનમંદિરમાં પથ્થર પર સુવર્ણકલાથી કારીગરી કરવામાં આવી છે. આવી કલા ઘણી વિશિષ્ટ જ ગણાય. એ જ રીતે અહીંનું કાચનું કામ પણ સુંદર છે. વિ. સં. ૧૮૯૭માં નરસી નાથા દ્વારા નિર્મિત આ ભવ્ય મંદિરની પ્રતિષ્ઠા થઇ હતી. શેઠ નરસી નાથાનું નામ એમણે પાલિતાણામાં બંધાવેલી વિશાળ ધર્મશાળાથી સુવિખ્યાત છે. આ મુખ્ય મંદિરની બાજુમાં વિ. સં. ૧૯૧૦માં મૂળનાયક શ્રી શાંતિનાથ ભગવાનનું દેરાસર છે. જે શેઠ ભારમલ તેજ શીએ નિર્માણ કર્યું હતું. એની નજીકમાં જ શેઠ હરભમ નરશી નાથાએ વિ. સં. ૧૯૧૮માં બંધાવેલું શ્રીઅષ્ટાપદજીનું અનોખું દેરાસર છે. આ ત્રણે મંદિરના ગભારાઓ અલગ છે, પણ મંદિર તો એક જ ગણાય. મંદિરની આગળના ચોકમાં શેઠ નરશી નાથા અને એમની પત્નીનીઆરસની મૂર્તિઓ મૂકેલી છે. આમાં ૧૭૬ જેટલી અન્ય જિન પ્રતિમાઓ પણ મળે છે. વળી ચાંદીના ૧૩૨, ધાતુના ચાર અને ચંદન કાષ્ઠના બે એમ કુલ ૧૩૮ જેટલાં શ્રી સિદ્ધચક્રજી મળે છે.
