यः । भू॒तानि॑ । स्वय॑म् । ए॒व । आब॒भूर्व ।
विश्वे॑षु । यः । भूतेषु॑ । अन्तरते॑ । ऽवि॑ष्टा॒ः ॥ यः । अ॒स्माक॑म् । अन्त॑रः । प्र॒ऽचेत॑ते ।
सः । सत्यः । अयम् । अमृतः । विश्ववेदाः ॥

He manifested himself in the form of all the elements. He entered into the heart of all of them. He activises from within all of us. He is the truth, he is immortal and omniscient.
अन्वयभाष्यम् |
यः केवलं चैतन्यसत्त्वः आत्मा भूतानि इमानि अचेतनरूपाणि स्वयमेव आसमन्तात् बभूव आकाशादिभूतात्मकेन मूर्तस्वरूपेण आविर्बभूव, एतेन चेतनात् आत्मनः परस्मात् सकाशात् अचेतनस्य जगतः सम्भूतिरुच्यते, केवले चेतनेऽपि आत्मनि बीजरूपेण नाम्ना अवशिष्टानि तानि सरूपतः आविश्वकारेति तस्य परं हृदयम् ॥
अथ पुनस्तेषु बहिरुत्सृष्टेषु अचेतनेष्वपि भूतेषु अन्तः सूक्ष्मेण अनुद्भूतरूपेण चेतनासत्त्वेन अनु अनुस्यूततया आविवेश, तथा आविश्य च तानि अधितिष्ठतीति भावः ॥ एतेन अचेतनेष्वपि आकाशादिषु भूतेषु चेतनात्मसत्त्वं तथा तस्य अनुद्भूतरूपत्वं च प्रतितिष्ठतीति ऋषिर्ज्ञापयति, यश्च अस्माकं सर्वेषां तनुभृतां अन्त: प्रत्यङ् चेतते उद्भूतरूपेण ज्ञानेच्छाकृतिचेतनादिसत्त्वेन संस्फुरति, सोऽयं अन्तरात्मा सत्यामृतत्वसर्वज्ञतादिस्वरूपतत्त्वपरिपूर्णः इति ||
COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATION
Atma, the pure conscious energy, manifested itself in the form of all these. inert elements. The creation of this inert universe proceeded from the Atma who is all energy. The secret is that all were already existing as names only in him; but he manifested them all or he gave them form. He entered by his still unmanifested subtle energy into all those inert elements. He did it continuously without any break. By this the seer reminds us that the Atma is the very source of their activity. Further, he throbs within all of us who have bodies. It is he who enlivens us with the power of intellect, knowledge, desire, action etc. The inner soul is the truth, he is immortal and omniscient.

यो अन्तः प्राणाः प्राणानां पतिः परो
यः प्राणेषु प्रवि॑ष्टो ज्योतिषाऽधि॑ ॥
