With our full confidence we dedicate this dictionary to the people of India in general. Most confidently we may assure that this dictionary will be useful and helpful not only to the students and researchers, but also to those who are desirous to taste the Dhammarasa of the Buddha. Whatever precaution might be taken for the publication of any research work, it can not be free from mistakes. The present dictionary also can not be free from lapses and mistakes. It is, therefore, our humble submission to the learned readers and scholars to be kind enough not to overlook the lapses and mistakes they will come across in our dictionary, but to inform us with suggestions which will help us in preparing the forthcoming volumes of the dictionary free from errors.
