________________ 11 Sri Silasuri (of Vṛddha-gaccha or Vaḍa-gaccha) Sri Dharmasuri Śri Sarvadevasüri Śri Candraprabhasūri Śrī Jinesvarasuri. In the year V. S. 1251 (the date of the compilation of the Gaharayanakosa) Jineśvara was a suri. This means that before that, the title of acarya was confered on him. Again, in V. S. 1288 he installed an idol of Parsvanatha. As an acarya he lived long. So, it is natural that his life as a Jain monk must have been very long. We are very grateful to Pt. Shri Dalsukhbhai Malvania, Director of the L. D. Institute of Indology, for including the present work in the L. D. Sesies. He has helped us in various ways. Our sincere thanks are also due to Shri Nagindas Kevalshi Shah who went to Cambay and prepared for us the copy of the last two gathasangrahas included in this volume. Jain Education International 1.
