March 28, 1989 India has been the birth place of many a faith spreading the message of love, tolerance, peace and brotherhood for centuries. Jainism is one such religion reflecting the philosophy of non-violence and peaceful co-existence. The Jain Munis are a living symbol of these divine qualities which are so essential for human existence. It is in this context the felicitations organised by the Ja n community to honour the Jain Sadhvi Shri Sajjan Shreeji Maharaj at Jaipur on the 20th May, 1989 assume a special significance to the Jain fraternity.
I have great pleasure in sending my cordial greetings and good wishes for the Abhinandan Granth being broughtout in this connection and in offering my felicitations to the Jain Sadhvi. I wish the function every success.
