३६. न य संसारम्मि सुहं, जाइजरामरणदुक्खगहियस्स । जीवस्स अत्थि जम्हा, तम्हा मुक्खो उवादेओ ||३||
इस संसार में जन्म, जरा और मरण के दुःख से ग्रस्त जीव को कोई सुख नहीं है । अतः मोक्ष ही उपादेय है ।
૩૬. આ સંસારમાં જન્મ, જરા અને મરણતા દુ:ખથી દુ:ખી જીવતે કંઈ સુખ તથી. તેથી મોક્ષ જ ઉપાદેય છે.
36. No soul is happy, who is suffering from miseries of birth, oldage and death in this world and that is why only liberation is worth attaining.
३७. जइ तं इच्छसि गंतुं, तीरं भवसायरस्स घोरस्स ।
तो तवसंजमभंडं, सुविहिय ! गिण्हाहि तूरंतो ॥४॥
यदि तू घोर भवसागर के पार जाना चाहता है, तो हे सुविहित शीघ्र ही तप-संयम रूपी नौका को ग्रहण कर ।
૩૭. હે સમજદાર ! તું જો ભયંકર ભવસાગર તરી જવાની ઇચ્છા રાખતો હો તો જલદી તપ-સંયમરૂપી તૌકાતી સહાય લઈ લે.
37. Oh enlightened ! If you are desirous of swiming across the dreadful ocean of various life-spans, you at-once excercise self control and board boat of Austerity & Restraint.
