30૯. તત્ત્વાર્થ પ્રત્યે શ્રદ્ધાનો અભાવ હોવો તે મિથ્યાત્વ છે. તેના
ત્રણ પ્રકાર છે – સંશય, સત્ય માટે અશ્રદ્ધા અને જન્મજાત અશ્રદ્ધા. આને મિથ્યાત્વ ગુણસ્થાત કહે છે.
309. Lack of faith towards essence/substance and
meaning thereof is said to be 'Mithyatva' It is of three types. doubts, lack of faith on truth/real and hereditary absence of faith. This is called 'Mithyatva Gunasthana.'
३१०. सम्मत्तरयणपव्यय-सिहरादो मिच्छभावसमभिमुहो ।
णासियसम्मत्तो सो, सासणणामो मुणेयव्वो ॥५॥ सम्यक्त्व-रत्नरूपी पर्वत के शिखर से गिरकर जो जीव मिथ्यात्वभाव की ओर अभिमुख हो गया है, परन्तु सम्यक्त्व के नष्ट हो जाने पर भी जिसने अभी साक्षात्-रूपेण मिथ्यात्वभाव में प्रवेश नहीं किया है, उस मध्यवर्ती अवस्था को सासादन नामक गुणस्थान कहते हैं ।
૩૧૦. સમ્યક્ત્વ રતરૂપી પર્વતના શિખરથી પડીતે જે જીવ મિથ્યાત્વ
ભાવ તરફ અભિમુખ થઈ ગયો છે, પણ સમ્યક્ત્વતો નાશ થયા છતાં પણ જેણે હજી સાક્ષાતરૂપે મિથ્યાત્વમાં પ્રવેશ કર્યો તથી, એ મધ્યવર્તી અવસ્થાને સાસ્વાદ ગુણસ્થાત કહે છે.
310. Falling from the summit of mountain of right
perception, a soul who is fast proceeding/heading towards 'Mithyatva' feeling and stay facing it, but still, despite elimination of Right perception (Samyakatva) who has still not yet entered mithyatva in exact form, such intermediary
