Most of people criticize dishonesty, quarrelsome behaviour, laziness but they do not gather courage to come forward and oppose it. Those who are tolerating such type of behaviour are also guilty. If we want that our boys should develop good habits and become an honest and loyal citizens, we have to change the society. Several times we come across such guardians who come to us and complain about their wards. In most of the cases, they want that their wards should not know that they came to the school and made a complaint against their wards.
In some cases how to persuade a boy or girl not to repeat the ugly and irresponsible behaviour become so painful to them that they leave home and do not return again. Some of the guardians are extra-zealous to see that their wards should do very well in the examination. This explosion of expectation of the parents sometimes, leads to an unsuccessful candidate to commit suicide. Therefore, guardians are also to take precaution while punishing or rebuking their wards. The trend of individualistic society and small family make a vacuum in the home. There is nobody in the house to console the boy or girl, when a girl or boy becomes unsuccessful. The weak boys should be looked after sympathetically. This is the place where grandparents could have been very helpful.
Newspapers, television are trying to sell their commodity. Therefore, to make the people interested in their news and materials give such things which can be categorized as nonsense. Several times on television we see such a sexy exposure that we are startled to think how the censor board cleared such an objectionable picture and statement to be screened.
To bring the reform in the country, the government, society and each individual have to create a will to see that our schools which are the foundation stone of the strong edifice of the democracy, are not neglected. I am sorry to comment that a large number of teachers are callous and careless. Of course, the air which is blowing in the country every where, one has to inhale. Therefore, only the teachers art not to be blamed. There is some defect in the whole system of organization. The teachers, politicians, guardians, every one in the society are responsible for this defect, according to their shares in shouldering the responsibility for making the country really a great one. There would be disaster if we all do not play our role collectively and carefully. We should not think of a great country, without playing our role effectively, wisely and whole-heartedly. Let us unite and make all efforts to bring peace, progress and prosperity in the country.

গগন ঢেকে মেঘ জমেছে। বাতাস বহে বেগে, শ্যামল কিশলয়ের সাথে কদম ওঠে জেগে। বৃষ্টি পড়ে টাপুর-টুপুর কেয়ার বনে বনে, বাদল হাওয়ার ভাবছে কী যে খােকন মনে মনে। ভিজছে ওরা ঐ যে দেখি অশথ গাছের তলে, কাগজ দিয়ে নৌকা গড়ে ভাসায় কারা জলে। ছােট্ট খােকার ঘুম আসে বা, শুনে মেঘের ডাক। শ্রাবণেরই ঘনঘটায় খুকু যে নির্বাক।
