Satkhandāgama discusses the fruition (vipäka) of karma on the basis of the types of vedanā, viz. sātā-asätä, etc. But in its Vedanavidhāna section while dealing with vedanā it employs the method of naya and enumerates the following types of vedanā, viz. bajjhamaniya veyaņā, udinna veyaņā, uvasamtā veyana and formulates many alternatives on their basis (Book XII, pp. 304-363).
