The following facts emerge from the above list of works and authors. There existed a cūrni on Prajñāpanā, written by an ancient Ācārya and both Āc. Haribhadra and Āc. Malayagiri have consulted it. In his commentary on Prajñāpanā Āc. Malayagiri has quoted passages from Prajñāpanāmülatikā, Sangrahanimülatikā, Śrāvakaprajñaptimālaţikā and Dharmasaramülatikā, mentioning the sources by name. At these places he declares that Ac. Haribhadra is the author of Sangrahanimülaţikā and Dharmasaramülatīka. But he mentions Sravakaprajñaptimālaţikā alone by name. He does not refer to its author. In connection with Prajñāpanāmülatīkā he mentions it by its name and its author by the general terms
mülaţikākāra,'mülatīkākrt.' That is, he does not mention the names of the authors of Prajñāpanāmūlaţika and Sravakaprajñāptimülaţikā. Hence we compared all the passages quoted from these two works in Malayagiri's commentary on Prajñāpanā with the
