GOMMATASARA.
म थोषसलागा हेडा उवरिं च संखगुणिदकमा । सव्वजुदी संखगुणा हेडुवरिं संखगुणमसरियत्ति ॥ १४६ ॥ मध्ये स्तोकशलाका अघस्तनमुपरि च संख्यगुणितक्रमाः । सर्वयुतिःसंख्यगुणा अधस्तनोपरि संख्यगुणायसंज्ञीति ॥ १४६ ॥
149. The shortest duration is in the middle of the divisions of each condition of existence. Both immediately above and below it the duration is numerable fold. Let these three be added. The duration both immediately above and below these again is numerable fold. And so on up to irrational five sensed.
Commentary.
A unit of the number of the divisions of duration is called Shaláká. Let 2 represent numerable fold.
