Third Great Vow
Now, next, As regards the Third (reat Vow, viz Abstinence from theft. I renounce all taking of anything not given in a village or a town or a wood, either little out of little or much, of small, or great or living or lifeless things I shall not take myself what is not given, I shall not cause others to take it, and I shall not consent to their taking it. As long as I live, I shall not myself do it, I shall not cause others to do it, and I shall not consent to others doing it, tiviham (in past, present or future, tivihéņam (by mind, speech, and body). O Worshipful Sire ! I con. fess, blame myself, repent and exempt myself from that sin, O Worshipful Sire, as regards the Third Great Vow, I am ready for abstinence from all taking what is not givien
