Description of the Mss.
INTRODUCTION
A. Paper Ms:-folios 61, length of each folio about 10", breadth about 4" with margins of about 1" on the left and the right and shout " on the upper and the lower sides. Lines per page about 13, but the number of letters per line varies from 42 to 49 on account of the space in the middle, practice, it may be noted in passing, in imitation of palmleaf Mss. The middle space is about 1" x 1". Writing is clear. The Ms. contains marginal notes.
This Ms. bears a seal in the Nasta' liq variety of Arabic script. Its colour is black. It reads: Bhan-chand murid-e-Khush Falm 1008. It means: Klush Fahn (a man of pleasant intellect) the disciple of Bhanchand. (Tijri Sun) 1008 -(- (=A. D. 1599)
The Ms. begins:- ॥ ५० ॥ ऐ नमः ॥ महोपाध्यायभानुचंद्रगणिभ्यो नमः । श्रेयः श्रियं तनुमतां तनुतां स शंभुः श्री अश्वसेनधरणीरमणांगजन्मा | etc.

ends:- नवीनास्तु एतान् दोषान् उक्तदोषेष्वंतर्भावयतीति युक्तमुत्पश्याम इत्युपरम्यत इति । कवेगिरां ययदवादि दूषणं ote........... चलिता न तु नाकिशैलाः || ६ || इयं शिष्यकृता प्रशस्तिः । इति पादशाह श्री - अकब्बरसूर्यसहस्रनामाध्यापक श्री शत्रुंजयतीर्थंकर मोचनाद्यने कसुकृत विधायक महोपाध्याय श्री भानुचन्द्रगणि शिष्याटोत्तरशतावधान साधन प्रमुदितपादशाह श्री अकब्वर प्रदत्त पुष्पमापराभिधान महोपाध्याय श्री सिद्धिचन्द्रगणि विरचिते काव्यप्रकाशखण्डने दशम उल्लासः समाप्तः ॥ छ ॥ संवत् १७०३ वर्षे अश्वनशुदि गुरौ लिखितं ॥ छ ॥ श्रीः ॥

It may be remarked here that a similar seal is found in the middle space of the last page of a Ms. of Taglu Siddhauts-Kamudi-another work of Siddhicandra. This Ms. Also belongs to the Bhandara of Pannyasa Saubhagya Vimalji at Ahmedabad.
