The spotless face of Lakşmi reflected in the bright Kaustubha gem on Vişnu's chest when she is resting on it is poetically compared to the orb of the spotless Moon imaged in the dazzling orb of the Sun. Actually, however, the Moon's orb can never be devoid of the dark spot, nor can it be imaged in the orb of the Sun. The comparison is based on pure imagination (#fegata). The stanza contains a veiled reference to inverted coitus. Cf. Govardhana's Āryāsaptašati st. 12.
