whose mind was embarrassed (saddened or disappointed). अभव्या =unlucky, unfortunate. अगहियाणुणओ (B. C. ) whose appeasement was rejected (by me). परवज्जणचिरीहि dancing (with joy) at the disgrace (or troubles) of others, exulting in the difficulties of others. q=disgrace, परावद्य scandal, ignominy of others. It is also possible to equate the phrase with qareetagitलाभिः == causing others to dance (नच्चिरी नर्तयन्ती ) to their own musical instrument i. e. inciting me to assume a stiff attitude towards my lover and reject his entreaties. This is how the commentator Gangadhara explains the phrase. Cf. st. 243. Under B's explanation we must take que as standing for a, with shortening of r into र for metre.

422) दीसंत नयणसुओ दीसंतो नयणसुहओ दृश्यमानः नयनसुभगः = delighting the eyes when seen. The use of the uninflected form a for at appears to be an Apabhramśa trait. See H. 4, 344. It is also possible to regard (1) vafa: sought after; (2) safe:
