Characterization of attachment to possessions (parigraha) as infatuation is all-inclusive. Therefore, a person who has renounced all possessions, but under infatuation, certainly is ‘with possession'.
The assertion that infatuation is attachment to possessions (parigraha) would mean that there can be no external parigraha. It is not so because infatuation is instrumental in all external possessions (parigraha) as well. This may seem to be overlapping (possessing anything is infatuation). It is not so; when passionless (higher order) saints take in karmic molecules, there is no attachment, and, therefore, there is no infatuation.
