The fire of lust burns the worldly beings from all sides. Indulgence in sensual pleasures does not calm down the lust but, as is the nature of the senses, intensifies it. Such indulgence is only an external palliative. O Lord! Knowing this, you became averse to the pleasures appertaining to the senses. Jain, Vijay K.
