Ratnakarandaka-śrāvakācāra
transgressions arise from negligence, infatuation or attachment. Forgetting the limits set is the fifth transgression. These are the transgressions of the vow governing the range of one's actions in the ten directions.

Ācārya Amrtacandra's Puruşārthasiddhyupāya:
ऊर्ध्वमधस्तात्तिर्यग्व्यतिक्रमाः क्षेत्रवृद्धिराधानम् । स्मृत्यन्तरस्य गदिताः पश्चेति प्रथमशीलस्य ॥ १८८ ॥ Exceeding the limits set in the directions, namely upwards, downwards, and horizontally, enhancing the set boundaries, and forgetting the boundaries set, are the five transgression of the first supplementary vow with regard to directions (digurata).
