It is three fold : 1 Laukika 2 Alaukika and 3 Miśra. The four kinds of 'artha' are further subdivided each into eight different classes. These thirty-two sub-divisions may be represented as follows: 18. 'And of these four the superiority is in ascending order'. -'Viveka' of Hemacandra. Rājasekhara then defines five kinds of poets who compose poems on these and ‘ayoni-artha' respectively and are named, 1. Bhrämaka 2 Cumbaka 3 Karşaka 4 Drāvaka and 5 Cintamani.
