a blessing to the departed soul from the heavenly bodies. The name of Sadhavi Shree Mrugavatiji shall also be recorded in the annals of history in golden letters. Her learned and devoted disciple Sadhavi Suvratashreeji, assisted by Sadhavis Suyashashreeji and Supragnashreeji, is also working much the same way, for and in the cause of the Smarak.
Samadhi Mandir of Sadhvi Mrugavatiji
A mound with an opening in the North, replete with ever-green vegetation is yet another attractive feature of the Complex. The hollowness within, very much resembles a cave and houses the Samadhi of the Revered Mahattara Jain Sadhvi Shree Mrugavatiji, who was the life and soul of the whole project. Subdued light enters the cave through the four skylight inlets provided in the dome. Cross-ventilation is also provided by means of 2 small doors in the East and the West. The coolness inside, even during the hottest days, is very soothing and conducive to peace of mind. This tumulus is but a part of the overall landscaping of the Complex.
Sadhvi Sujayeshthashreeji's Samadhi
A small platform has been erected at the site of the cremation of Sadhvi Sujayeshthashreeji, a little away from the main building, within the Complex. She was the first disciple of Mahattra Shree Mrugavatiji, and helped consolidate the Mahila Samaj for the noble task of Vijay Vallabh Smarak, to which she was completely devoted. She suddenly passed away on November 9, 1985. Seva (service), Sadhana (meditation) and Samarpan (dedication) were the creed of Her life.
Landscaping of the Smarak
The construction of decorative 'Samarans' over the domes has been done symmetrically with precision. The vast open area has been extensively landscaped with grassy lawns, choicest flower beds, creepers, bushes, ornamental trees, grooves, niches, fountains, water-falls, winding walkways and the like. Stone inscriptions bearing the sermons of Bhagwan Mahavir and sayings of Acharya Vijayvallabhsuriji Maharaj, have been installed to ispire one and all.
Future Plans
A well equipped School, where education will be imparted for the alround development of the child, with the objective of character building and inculcating in him both patriotism and discipline, is in the offing. A community centre alongwith a large guest House for the visitors is also proposed to
