The beautiful and enchanting marble image of Devi Padmavati with Lord Parshvanath on Her head, adorns the SanctumSanctorum. Men and women throng this temple for self-purification and atonement. They invoke the blessings of the Goddess. Bhojanalaya (Community Kitchen) A Bhojanalaya was established in May 1984 within the Complex, under the name of Shree Vallabh Smarak Bhojanalaya Trust. It caters to the students, scholars, inmates and visitors. Arrangement is also made to serve full meals to the participants at the time of Seminars and Workshops. Wholesome food is provided free of charge. An endowment has been created for the purpose. Later, a Canteen will also be set up to provide snacks, tea, cold drinks etc. to the inmates and the visitors. Medical Centre The Smarak Complex is equipped with a Medical Aid Centre, since 1985 under the aegis of Shree Atma Vallabh Jaswant Dharam Medical Founda To begin with, a free Homeopathic Dispensary was set up, which is serving the neighbouring villages and inmates of the Complex. An Allopathic Diagnostic Centre alongwith facility of X-Ray is proposed to be added thereto after the construction of a separate building for the purpose. Sadhvi Mrugavatiji—A Synonym of Smarak Sadhvi Shree Mrugavatiji brought the mission of Acharya Vijayvallabhsuriji Maharaj to a sharp focus once again. She endeared herself to all strata of society with her piety and benediction. Endowed with courage, she was deft at planning and quick in decision. Sadhviji identified herself so much with the project that she virtually became a synonym of Vijay Vallabh Smarak. People rallied around her with unswerving loyalty. Requisite funds were never a constraint on her inspiration and behest. Construction work made a great headway during her lifetime. Opening ceremonies of Bhogilal Leherchand Institute of Indology, Mata Padmavati Temple, Bhojanalaya and the Dispensary were performed in the benign presence of Her Holiness. To ensure a glorious future, she guided the destiny of the project for full 12 years, right from 1974 till her untimely passing away on 18th July, 1986. Indra Dhanush, once again appeared in the sky at the time of her cremation, symbolising Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
