HIS LIFE AND TEACHINGS.
1The name of the MAHABHARATA has long been known widely all over the civi lized world. This great Epic has not been translated into almost all civilised languages. Therefore the story of the Mahabharata is known to all; and the name of the great Patriarch of the Kurus Bhisroa, in familiar to every one, whether in the East or in the West.
2. His TEACHINGS to his nephews stand unexampled in world--they are the grandest on the various phases of human duties, religious, social political and moral, that were ever told to man,
that were ever found in any other literature. It occupies the whole of the SANTI Porvam of the MAHABHARATA, the biggest, the most difficult, the greatest and the sublimest of all other Parvana.
4. We have humbly ventured to undkertake the publication of this work. It will be a hauly volume and will be written siaple and lusid language, so that every one will be able to read and understand it without the least difficulty.
The book will be published in Monthly Parta and will be completed in Twelve Much parta. Each Part will come out at the end of every mouth. PART FIRST SYCOND, THIRD, FOURTH are out, fifth is in the press, and will shortly be out. SUBSCRITTION-Each Part (per V. P. P. is one Rupee.
