Mahāvīra's Itinerary:
We have seen that at the age of thirty, Mahāvīra embraced monastic life. During his forty-two years of wandering life he is said to have visited the following places.
Before entering into details, we may make two parts of his itinerary. The first twelve years he wandered as a non-kevalin, and the places he visited were: Alabhiya
