Requisites : Coating, sewing and the distribution of clothing and other requisites were
to be done on Kfttikā and Viśākhā nakşatras.
Study: To start the study on nakşatras like the Satabhişak, Puşya, and Hasta.
Nakşatras which were supposed to be
Mrgasirşa, Ardrā, favourable for the increase in knowledge .. Puşya, Pūrvā, Mūla,
Hasta, Citrā, Aśleşā and Pūrvābhādra
padā. When the trees were full of flowers and leaves, one began studies.
Residence :
One was not to leave one's place when the birds were making sounds at the root of the tree. Illness : Food was to be collected for the ill on the Anurādhā, Revati, Citrā, and
Mrgaśīrṣa nakşatras. General :
The daytime was always looked upon as good for starting any work ; the night as very bad, and moonlit night as mediocre. Starting work on the pratipadā
