सामायिक आवश्यक स्वयं को मन, वचन और काय - इन तीनों तलों पर समभाव में स्थापित करने की प्रतिज्ञा है सामायिक। चित्र में साधक सामायिक की प्रतिज्ञा ग्रहण कर रहा है। __ इनसैट्स - में परिवार, सचित्त वनस्पति, खेती-बाड़ी, धन-स्वर्ण एवं क्लेश आदि को परिभाषित करने वाले चित्र हैं। उक्त संबंधों, वस्तुओं और हिंसात्मक व्यापारों से साधक स्वयं को जीवन पर्यंत के लिए अलग करने की प्रतिज्ञा करता है।
Samayik Aavashyak
“The Samayik” is a vow to establish oneself in equanimity at all the three levels of mind, speech and body. In the illustration the practiser is accepting the vows of observing a Samayik.
In the insets the pictures defining the afflictions etc. of family, organic vegetation, agriculture, wealth and gold have been illustrated. The practiser avows to keep himself separate from these relations, objects and violent activities for life time.
