________________ ૧૨ As shown in chapter outline on page 2, this book is unique for the following reasons: 1. It provides stepwise guidance on how to integrate and understand Bhaktiyog and Gnanyog in very simple language. The book provides numerous examples and references to link the subject matter with Bhaktiyog and Gnanyog and its benefits to the reader in easy to follow steps. my spiritual awakening became stronger from study of Gnanyog and Bhaktiyog as a daily practice of more than 4 to 6 hours of home study of scriptures. Talking about miracles, a pivotal point and a major miracle happened in 1985 when I met Shri Kiranbhai Parikh who provided continuous teachings and inspiration to study and write a book on the compositions of above Jain masters. Then in 1995 I was truly blessed by another miracle when I met Pujya Pandit Dhirubahi Mehta in Allentown PA. This was a huge blessing to me as Panditji continued to shower me with his teachings on many Jain texts of Upadhyay Yashovijaji and Acharaya Haribhadra for the next 20 years during his visits to US. Furthermore, I was very fortunate to know Gurudev Chitrabhanuji and Parmodaben very closely for four decades who inspired me greatly to write a text on Bhaktiyog based on my study and discourses. UNIQUENESS OF THIS BOOK In 2015, I was invited to conduct Parushana program at Norwalk CT Jain center as my sixth visit to my favorite group of Jain friends. In 2009, during my program at this center, I had stressed the importance of weekly Swadhyay, and the group took the initiative to follow this and kept up so well for all these years. That Swadhyay group kindly requested me to offer 90minute discourses every day on Bhaktiyog compositions of the four masters discussed in this book. Once again they received the teachings on Bhaktiyog so well that during our dinner session, many people asked me if I would write a book on Bhaktiyog to provide a home study course material. My heart immediately said, "I must write this book based on joyful experience of many years on Bahktiyog". But I felt a restrain that living in US for more than four decades, I may not have the command of Gujarati language to write a book on Bhaktiyog of these great masters. On the fourth day of Parushana, I got up at 2 am at night and started writing the outline of this book and I don't know how it happened as if "a spiritual flow of Bahktiyog came in my heart from the cosmic universe"! Not only I accepted the challenge to write this book in 2015 but also the CT Jain group immediately accepted the responsibility to sponsor the book and help with donations to fund the project. First five chapters provide good introduction to the importance of human life, the clear and precise understanding of essential daily rituals, and self study one needs to practice with right understanding, and how one can transcend from materialistic life to a spiritual life with abundant joy and happiness. Chapter seven provides a complete guide to connecting in divine love for Lord Mahavir and how to immerse in blissful state of unconditional love for the divinity. Chapter eight offers very in depth guide to divine Bhaktiyog that can help the reader attain higher state of self-awareness in effortless state and experience true spiritual bliss. Chapters 9 and 10 will walk you thru specific steps to remain obedient to the timeless teachings of great Masters, and attain self realization that ensures entry into Moxa or Nirvana and put an end to the cycle of birth, old age, suffering, and death.Page Navigation
