The following list is the result of much enquiry, and is believed to be nearly, if not quite, exhaustive. The RASAKALLOLA or" Waves of Delight" by Dinkrishna Dâs, a work of the early part of the sixteenth century, is the most celebrated Oriya poem, and is still well-known; its songs are even now frequently heard at village meetings, and most educated Oriyas know whole cantos by heart. I propose to give some notices of it at a future time. List. [N.B. The following ancient Uriya works are known to be in existence, and copies of them written on talpatra or palm leaf, may probably be procured in different parts of the province.
