સૌધર્મની ઉત્કૃષ્ટસ્થિતિને પોતાના પ્રતિરોથી ભાગીને ઈષ્ટપ્રતરથી ગુણવાથી તે પ્રતરની ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સ્થિતિ આવે. બધા પ્રતરોમાં જઘન્ય સ્થિતિ ૧ પલ્યોપમ છે. (૧૫)
Formula for obtaining maximum lifespan of the deities residing on any pratara.
Formula for first two heavens is as follows :1) Divide the maximum lifespan of Saudharma
heaven with the total number of pratarās. 2) Multiply the answer with the expected number of
pratara. [For ex 10 2+13 = 1, 2) 15 = 9 : maximum lifespan of fifth pratara is 19 sāgaropamās. દેવલોકની સ્થિતિના વિશેષ (તફાવત)ને પોતાના પ્રતરથી ભાગી ઈષ્ટપ્રતરથી ગુણી નીચેના દેવલોકની સ્થિતિથી સહિત તે ઇષ્ટ પ્રતરમાં ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સ્થિતિ છે. (૧૬)

lifespan of the expected heaven. 2) Divide the result with the total number of
pratarās. 3) Multiply the answer with the expected number of
pratara.
